The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Guwahati, Assam invites online applications from eligible ITI passed candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/ Units in the Jurisdiction of NFR Railway against 5647 vacancies. The RRC NFL Apprentice 2024 Online Application Registration for 2023-24 & 2024-25 will made through the NFR Online Application Portal named as app.nfr-recruitment.in from 4th November to 3rd December 2024.

NFR Railway Apprentice Age Limit:
  • The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 03.12.2024.
  • Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
  • For persons with Disability, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
NFR Railway Apprentice Salary:

As per Apprenticeship Act.

NFR Railway Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:

For Mechanical / Electrical / Engineering / S&T / Personnel / Accounts Departments:

  • Candidates must have passed 10th class (Matric) examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board.
  • National Trade Certificate (ITI) in relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.

For Medical Department (MLT – Pathology & Radiology):

  • Minimum 12th class (under 10+2 system) Pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 50% marks.
NFR Railway Apprentice Selection Process:
  • On the basis of merit list (Prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation + ITI).
  • A final merit list will be prepared unit wise, trade wise and community wise, equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate.
  • Document Verification.

NFR Railway Apprentice Application Fee:

  • A Non Refundable fee of ₹ 100/- only.
  • No fee for SC / ST / PWD / Women candidates.
  • The Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway.
How to Apply NFR Railway Apprentice Recruitment
  • Eligible candidates are required to apply online through NFR Apprentice Online Application Portal (app.nfr-recruitment.in).
  • Step 1: Register your Self – The candidates are required to fill Online Application Form include Personal Information, Contact Details and Create Password.
  • Step 2: Once Step 1 registration is complete, log in to apply for the NFR Apprentice posts. Then, upload the scanned copies of the required documents, including your Aadhaar card, signature, latest color photograph, and any relevant documents, and pay the application fee.
  • The last date for registration of online applications is 23/12/2024 up to 23:59 Hours.
Documents to Upload with Online Application Form :

Candidates are required to upload the legible scanned copy of following documents :

  • Mark sheet and Pass Certificate of Matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent.
  • Mark sheet and Pass Certificate of Senior Secondary (Class 12) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology for the two categories of Medical Laboratory Technicians.
  • Certificate for proof of date of birth if it is not mentioned in (a) above.
  • Consolidated mark sheet for all ITI semesters of the relevant trade OR Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
  • National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.
  • Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Certificate for EWS candidates.
  • Disability certificate, in case of PwBD candidates.
  • Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of candidates applying against ex-Servicemen quota.
  • Certificate for Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates seeking Fee Exemption.
