Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited (AIC) invites applications from Eligible Indian Citizens for filling up the post of Management Trainee through open competition on All India Basis for various disciplines. AIC is a specialty and one of the largest Crop Insurance Company in the Indian non-life Insurance Sector, having a substantial market share in Crop Insurance, aiming to cover the huge protection gap lying uninsured with respect to other risks related to agriculture and allied activities of the farmers.

Emoluments & benefits:
The selected candidate would be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000/- per month for their services in the Company as a Management Trainee.
On their successful completion of Management Trainee period and subsequent absorption as Scale – I officers (Administrative Officers) with the Basic Pay starting at Rs. 50,925/- in the Scale of Rs. 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and other admissible allowances as applicable. Gross emoluments will be approximately 90,000/- (per month) depending on their place of posting.
Education Qualification (as on 01.12.2024)
A) Generalists: A candidate must possess Graduation / Post graduation in any discipline from a recognized
University with minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and minimum 55% marks for
SC/ST/PwBD candidates in either of the degrees.
B) Actuarial :
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Sciences/ Economics/ Operations Research from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in either of the degree examination for UR/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. OR
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in either of the degree examination for UR/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and credit of minimum 2 papers from Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI)/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), UK as per new curriculum.
Note – For getting absorbed as Scale 1 Officer – Administrative Officer, the Management Trainee must pass/exempted minimum 3 papers (In Total) from Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI)/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), UK, as per the new curriculum before completion of their Management Trainee period.Information TechnologyB. - a. Essential Skills with Supporting Certification – At least in any one of the below mentioned skills –
- 1. Software Development: Well versed with IT Technologies like Angular/J2EE/MySQL/PLSQL/ Java FullStack/Java Developer/Unix Shell/Android/Python & Django Developer/ API development/Integration – Java & Python/Android/React Native Mobile App Developer/Front-end Developer including UI/UX.
- 2. Network Administration: Well versed with Deep packet tracing/Network troubleshooting and Tools like Nmap/Putty/Linux.
- 3. System Administration: Well versed with Cloud Technologies AWS/OCI/Azure/Server Architecture/OS/DB/System Management/and OS commands for Linux/SQL Queries.
- 4. Information Security: Well versed with Ethical Hacking courses/ IT Security threats and mechanisms/ Hacking/ Spoofing etc.
- b. Desirable Skills –Experience with respective essential skill
